Spice Cupcakes Ingredients 2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking

Spice Cupcakes

Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoons ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup chopped nuts or raisins
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon soda

Instructions
Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and spices. Sift again. Lightly stir in the chopped nuts or raisins, tossing to coat. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs until light; add sugar and beat until well blended. Combine sour cream and baking soda; stir into the spice mixture. Stir in dry ingredients, mixing until smooth and well blended. Bake in muffin paper-lined or greased and floured cupcake pans at 375 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until cake bounces back when lightly touched with finger.

Yield: 14-16 Cupcakes.
